MPS 112 BK – Pet coke mill for Bulgaria
The company ordered a grinding plant with a Pfeiffer vertical roller mill of the type MPS 112 BK for its Asenovgrad works. Repeat orders reflect customers’ satisfaction.
Gebr. Pfeiffer is delighted at the long-standing business relationship with Calcit JSC. Back in 2003, Calcit JSC had bought two Pfeiffer separators for its lime works which had been integrated successfully in its process. In 2013, a grinding plant with an MPS 112 B had followed, producing 5 t/h of quicklime. The MPS 112 BK pet coke mill now ordered is designed for a product fineness of 3 % residue 0.090 mm at a production rate of 3.5 t/h.
The installation of a hot gas generator ensures that the material is dried while being ground in the mill to the required residual surface moisture of a maximum 1 %. In addition to the mill, classifier and feed rotary lock, the scope of supply includes the plant filter and the plant fan, a weigh belt feeder, metal separation and removal, pneumatic handling, control and shut-off dampers as well as components of the control and safety equipment and the complete electric switchgear plant with PLC system.
