MVR vertical roller mill for grinding cement raw material
Second Delta Cement line in Iraq also equipped with Pfeiffer vertical roller mill
After Gebr. Pfeiffer had already supplied a vertical roller mill for line 1 in 2012, the company has now received the follow-up order for the second line at Delta Cement's cement plant in Iraq.
A state-of-the-art MVR 5000 R-4 vertical roller mill will be used for grinding cement raw material. It is one of many examples of how the cooperative relationship between Gebr. Pfeiffer and its customers leads to long-term and trusting business relationships.
The raw mill in the new line is equipped with a latest-generation SLS 4500 VR classifier. It will grind 500 t/h of cement raw materialto a fineness of 12 % R to 0.090 mm. The cement raw material is dried in the mill from a feed moisture content of approx. 9.3 % to a residual moisture of < 0.5 %. 4,400 kW are installed on the mill drive.
Gebr. Pfeiffer was awarded the contract through Chinese general contractor Sinoma Suzhou.
The MVR mill is expected to be commissioned end of 2025.
