Wonder Cement once again puts its trust in Gebr. Pfeiffer for its greenfield project in Jaisalmer The Indian cement producer is part of a family-owned company based in Udaipur, India, which is active in many other business areas in addition to the cement sector.
Since its foundation in 2010, Wonder Cement has consistently relied on the proven technology of Gebr. Pfeiffer for its vertical roller mills. This trust remains unchanged for its latest milestone – the construction of a state-of-the-art greenfield cement plant in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan: Wonder Cement has once again chosen Gebr. Pfeiffer as its technology partner for raw material and coal grinding.
With the installation of the new roller mills by the end of 2026, Wonder Cement will have a total of 15 Pfeiffer mills in operation – a strong sign of a long-standing, successful partnership. The ordered raw meal mill, MVR 6000 R-6, is one of the largest raw mills in India. With a mill drive power of 6,725 kW and a capacity of 1,000 t/h, it sets new standards. An integrated SLS 6000 VR high-performance classifier ensures the required product fineness of 2% residue on a 212 µm screen.
The proven MPS 3550 BK vertical roller mill is used for coal grinding – equipped with a mill drive of 1,840 kW and a capacity of 65 t/h petcoke or 100 t/h coal.
The project is being carried out in close cooperation between Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Gebr. Pfeiffer SE (Germany). The experts in Noida, India, are responsible for all customer support and plant design.
