MVR vertical roller mill for grinding cement for JSW, Nagaur, India

JSW Cement also convinced by the highly efficient MVR grinding technology

Pfeiffer has received an order to supply a cement grinding plant for JSW Cement Limited. The grinding plant will be located in Nagaur, Rajasthan, in the north of the country.

A Pfeiffer MVR vertical roller mill of the type MVR 3750 C-4 will be used, which will be equipped with a classifier of the latest generation, type SLS 4000 BC. The grinding system is designed to grind 132 tph OPC to a fineness <= 8 % R 45 µm or 155 tph PPC to a fineness <= 8 % R 45 µm.

Pfeiffer MVR mills are characterized among others by their efficiency, high power density and extremely smooth operation. In cement production, they are used to grind OPC and all types of blended cement with different proportions of additives and clinker substitutes. In this way, MVR mills contribute to more sustainable production and save valuable resources and electrical energy in cement plants. A pleasant side effect is that the operator also saves on production costs.

JSW Cement is part of the diversified JSW Group, which, as one of India's leading companies, also covers other areas besides cement, such as steel and energy. The company is present in the entire construction materials value chain, which includes cement, GGBS, concrete and construction chemicals. This enables JSW Cement to serve the diverse needs of the construction industry with its high-quality products. The company also uses industrial by-products for the production of cement, thus ensuring a greener future.
