UltraTech focuses on digital future – 7 Pfeiffer mills for new expansion projects
UltraTech Cement and Gebr. Pfeiffer – a partnership that sets standards. As the India’s largest cement producer, UltraTech is pursuing an ambitious growth strategy and consistently relying on proven technology. UltraTech has relied on the expertise of Gebr. Pfeiffer for many years – and this successful partnership continues with the current expansion projects: A total of 7 state-of-the-art vertical roller mills are being supplied for various plants.
As part of the current projects, the order includes one MVR 5600 R-6 mill for raw material grinding, two MPS 3750 BK mills for grinding petcoke and coal, and four MVR 6000 C-6 mills for cement grinding.
The MVR mills are equipped with state-of-the-art condition monitoring systems that enable preventive, digitally controlled maintenance. Gebr. Pfeiffer is thus laying the foundation for future-oriented maintenance concepts and maximum plant availability.
The project is being implemented in close cooperation between Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Gebr. Pfeiffer SE (Germany). The experienced engineering team in Noida, India, is responsible for comprehensive customer support and precise plant planning.
