Gebr. Pfeiffer Panel 2018 I Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia I January 23 to January 25 2018

Pfeiffer Panel in South-East Asia – In the midst of a growing market

Well over 100 participants from South-East Asia and Australasia accepted Gebr. Pfeiffer's invitation to Kuala Lumpur. Together with the co-sponsors AUMUND, HAVER & BOECKER and FUCHS LUBRITECH, a versatile and exciting information package was put together for the numerous guests from nine countries joining the two-day event.

Situated directly opposite the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, the Grand Hyatt proved to be a first-class event hotel for the Pfeiffer panel taking place from Jan 23rd to 25th, 2018. The combination of interested guests, exciting presentations, detailed discussions, lively exchanges of experiences and a pleasant atmosphere led to a successful cement event in all respects.

All around the topic of "efficient grinding plants for the cement industry" the specialists in the fields of grinding, storage, handling, lubrication and packaging delivered lively presentations on their numerous innovative products.

Gebr. Pfeiffer’s Regional Office Malaysia is in charge of taking care of Pfeiffer’s customers from South-East Asia and Australasia. The office, which is assisted by the representatives in the individual countries and able to draw upon the expertise of the specialist departments in Kaiserslautern whenever required, is managed by Tim Burden, who also hosted the Pfeiffer Panel in Kuala Lumpur.

In addition to many other topics, the engineers from Gebr. Pfeiffer also took the opportunity to draw the audience’s attention to the wide range of sizes, in which the MVR mill with the many advantages it offers can be supplied. They gave as examples an MVR 6700 C-6 in Brazil, the world's largest cement mill, and a relatively small MVR 1800 C-4 in Kenya, the core equipment of the world's first modular grinding plant, better known as ready2grind.

In the lecture series the unique features of the innovative MVR mill were confirmed by a great many reliable examples of practical experiences from all over the world. Impressed by the information provided, the participants engaged in a vibrant and mutually beneficial exchange of information and experience with our experts. In addition to the regional Pfeiffer engineers, specialists from the fields of process engineering, order processing and service were also available.

The presentations, coupled with the perfectly coordinated lectures of our co-sponsors, covered all relevant topics from the optimization of grinding processes and the extensive range of Gebr. Pfeiffer’s services to layout engineering assisted by 3D laser scanning through to the virtual reality technology.

The social highlight was the gala dinner on the evening of the first day of the event. Treated to culinary delicacies with soft live music in the background, the guests had ample opportunity to continue their discussions and exchange their ideas.
