Gebr. Pfeiffer Panel 2015 in Hanoi, Vietnam

The technical seminar held in Hanoi the previous month had mainly been targeted at plant operators and maintenance experts, with the primary objective being to impart detailed knowledge around the operation of Pfeiffer vertical roller mills. Mr Cai Hong Thu, Deputy Director from VICEM and Gebr. Pfeiffer's Executive Board Member, Technical, welcomed the attendees and introduced the themes of the seminar.The lecture session started with a presentation highlighting the design principles as well as new and further developments of the Pfeiffer vertical roller mills and the unique Pfeiffer drive technology with active redundancy. The following lecture tied in with the previous one, talking about the special features of MPS and MVR mills for the cement industry.Backed by decade-long competence in the field of mill technology, Pfeiffer's portfolio now also includes the overall package, the turn-key grinding plant. The third lecture dealt at length with this subject whereas the fourth and last presentation informed the audience about the comprehensive service activities of the company.Two customer events in Vietnam only five weeks apart again reflect Gebr.
