Pfeiffer Technical Seminar in Tehran – Latest Information on Maintenance and Repair for Vertical Mill Operators in the Middle East
Gebr. Pfeiffer invited his long-standing customers from Iran, Iraq and Sudan to a two-day event taking place at the Parsian Evin Hotel in Tehran, Iran, on October 17th and 18th, 2017.
The Technical Seminar attracted more than 60 delegates and was opened by Amini Yekta (Iran Cement Association), Homayoun Jamshidi (Gebr. Pfeiffer‘s Representative in Iran) and Rainer Krüper, Gebr. Pfeiffer’s Director – After Sales Service. The main topic of the seminar was maintenance and trouble shooting. On the first day of the event, Roland Martini, Area Manager of Gebr. Pfeiffer, spoke about the great many advantages of the innovative MVR technology. Another presentation showcased how Pfeiffer is constantly expanding its service activities. This, in combination with the worldwide network of subsidiaries and experienced service partners, enables Pfeiffer to provide its customers with Pfeiffer services anytime and anywhere they need them.
A complementary presentation on the subject of hydraulics given by Hydac rounded off the programme.
The time remaining before the evening dinner was used by the guests for intense discussions in small groups on specific topics. Plant operators, who have partly been operating Pfeiffer vertical rollers mills for decades, used the opportunity for a lively exchange of views and information with the experienced Pfeiffer specialists.
On the second day, the partner companies Fuchs Lubritech and Dalog presented on service topics relating to their products and equipment. Reiner Kiefhaber, Spare Parts Manager of Gebr. Pfeiffer, talked about trends in spare parts management and improved spare parts strategies. He gave as an example the future spare parts pool, which will be available in Iran before the beginning of the third quarter of 2018. The final presentation of the event dealt with the latest findings on how to optimize grinding processes. After a joint lunch all Pfeiffer customers were given the opportunity to take part in discussions in various topic groups.
Intense discussions and interesting news, coupled with a professional exchange of knowledge and experience, marked this second Technical Seminar in Iran, contributing to enabling Pfeiffer machines in Iran and other countries to continue working to the full satisfaction of the customers.
