Gebr. Pfeiffer MPS vertical roller mill to modernize gypsum processing equipment
The internationally operating Etex Group produces dry construction materials under the brand name of Siniat. The works in Hartershofen of Sinat GmbH is involved in the manufacture of gypsum plasterboards and V-cut shaped plasterboard profiles.
On this brownfield project, Gebr. Pfeiffer could particularly impress with its tailor-made concept of implementation which will allow Hartershofen’s production to remain largely unaffected by the forthcoming modernization activities. Moreover, the fact that Gebr. Pfeiffer was able to offer a solution from one source was of particular importance to the customer. All this led to Gebr. Pfeiffer being awarded the contract.
This new mill will be set up in an annex next to the old grinding plant. To be noted that a major part of the existing equipment will be reused.This procedure will ensure that the current production can be maintained as long as possible during the phase of implementation.
The scope of services comprises delivery of the mill, proportioning equipment, hot gas generator, process ducting, electrics, buildings and foundations including installation and connection works as well as integration into the existing process.
Switch-over and commissioning of the grinding plant are planned for December 2016.
