Şişecam Group, one of the leading manufacturers of glass products in Turkey, puts its trust in Gebr. Pfeiffer once again.
In fact, it purchased an MPS 112 A roller mill more than twenty years ago, and has now opted again for an MPS mill for kaolin grinding.
This deal will see Pfeiffer supply an MPS 140 B designed to grind of kaolin very finely. At the same time the very moist feed material is dried easily in the mill.
The contract was awarded not only because of the customer’s satisfaction with the first mill but also because of the Pfeiffer mill grinding the kaolin much more efficiently than its competitors’ mills.
Gebr. Pfeiffer’s scope of supply for the glass fibre plant in Balikesir will include the complete grinding plant reaching from the material dosing equipment through to the finished product transport.
The plant is scheduled to go onstream in the middle of 2018.
